Practical information

The Tissineva hostel is located in the center of the Regional Natural Park Gruyère and Pays d’En Haut. It is wise to consult the website www.pnr-gp.ch to inquire about the activities organized by the Park.

With a capacity of 80 places inside and as much on the terrace, Tissineva is a spacious and ideal place to organize your events on the Alp with friends and family, a group for business seminars, sports outings, wedding celebrations, a baptism, a brunch or any other type of party you can think of.

The chalet is equipped with a projector and screen. The equipment can be used for conferences or presentations. Rental price for 2 hours: 50.- CHF for groups that eat at the restaurant and 150.- CHF for groups that are only having drinks and nibbles.

The Inn has a small dormitory and rooms but is not allowed to operate accommodation in June and July. The evenings are certainly long over summer, but still plan for your return at night if you stay for the evening meal. For the walk back, you will require a headlamp, good shoes and someone who knows the way.

For those who want to live a moment out of the ordinary and attend the most sublime sunsets, remember to bring your headlamp and good shoes for the descent. Good walking shoes are essential for the comfort of your feet … and for your good mood! There are two sports shops in the village of Charmey where supplies and footwear can be purchased.

The establishment of shuttles is in talks with the Road Union.
